If you can’t update your device, erase it and set it up as new to remove the passcode and choose a new one. If you forgot your Screen Time passcode, update your device to the latest iOS or iPadOS then reset your passcode. Just follow the onscreen instructions during setup. With iOS 16, while you're setting up Screen Time for a child's device, you can set age-related restrictions for content in apps, books, TV shows, and movies. Then tap Change Screen Time Passcode or Turn Off Screen Time Passcode, and authenticate the change with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. To change or turn off the passcode on your child's device, tap Settings > Screen Time >. Make sure to choose a passcode that's different from the passcode that you use to unlock your device. If asked, enter your passcode, then turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions. This can be used to reset your Screen Time passcode if you forget it. After you confirm your passcode you'll be asked to enter your Apple ID and password. If you're setting up Screen Time on your child's device, follow the prompts until you get to Screen Time Passcode and enter a passcode.If you're the parent or guardian of your device and want to prevent another family member from changing your settings, tap Use Screen Time Passcode to create a passcode, then re-enter the passcode to confirm. After you confirm your passcode you'll be asked to enter your Apple ID and password.Choose "This is My " or "This is My Child's. Tap Turn on Screen Time, then tap it again.Repairs performed by untrained individuals or using non-genuine Apple parts may affect the safety and functionality of the device. If none of these solutions work: If you have an Apple display and can’t correct the problem, contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service. If you suspect your Apple display contains a high number of anomalies, contact Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service. If you see bright or dark spots on a flat-panel or Mac laptop screen: Your display may have pixel anomalies. Try relocating nearby electrical devices, or moving your Mac and display. You may also be experiencing interference from a nearby power line, a fluorescent light, a radio, a microwave oven, another computer, or another electrical device. If the display is flickering: Make sure your Mac and display are connected to one another with good quality cables and adapters. Then click the button to detect the display. To see the Detect Displays button, press the Option key. Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Displays. If your display is blurry: Make sure your Mac has detected that display. If that doesn’t work, try calibrating the display. (You may need to scroll down.) Click the pop-up menu next to “Color profile” on the right, then choose Thunderbolt Display. For example, if you’re using a Thunderbolt display, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar. If the colors don’t look right: Try using the display profile designed for your display. If images are too large or too small: Try adjusting your display’s resolution. If the display is black or dim: Try adjusting your display’s brightness.
